Don’t Choose Your Countertops From a Tiny Sample

See the whole slab. Know exactly who is responsible for the finished fit.

Walk more than 1,500 full slabs, choose the stone you want for your home, and work with the local company that fabricates it in-house and installs it.

Check Your Countertop Options

Tell us where your project stands. We’ll help you understand material availability, what we need for pricing, and the next step without pressuring you to commit.

Choose the Slab. Know Who Is Fabricating It.

A small sample can help with color. It cannot show how a vein will travel across an island, where natural variation will appear, or how the full pattern will read in your kitchen.

At our Blountville facility, you can compare full slabs and choose the exact stone for your project. Our inventory and CNC fabrication operation are in the same location, so your selection moves into production without being passed between unrelated companies.

More Than 5,000 Slabs Means You Don’t Have to Settle

More inventory is not valuable because the number sounds impressive. It matters because you have a better chance of finding a slab that works with your cabinets, flooring, light, and budget.

Walk the yard, compare movement and color in person, and ask direct questions before you commit. Inventory changes regularly, so call ahead if you want us to check a particular material or color family before your visit.

Find the Right Stone That Fits Your Life

The right countertop is not simply the one that looks best in a photo. It needs to fit how you cook, clean, gather, and feel about maintenance. We’ll explain the tradeoffs so you can choose without guessing.

Fewer Handoffs. Clear Accountability.

No guessing whether the problem belongs to the person who measured, the shop that cut the stone, or the crew that installed it. Mountain Empire keeps templating, in-house fabrication, and installation connected through one local company.

Your Measurements

Our team templates your installed space and confirms the details needed for fabrication, including openings and selected fixtures.

Your Fabrication

Your countertop is cut and finished at our Blountville facility using in-house CNC equipment. Keeping production here gives our team direct control over the approved measurements and material.

Your Installation

What Happens Next: From First Call to Final Polish

You do not need every project detail settled before you contact us. Start with what you know. We’ll explain what needs to happen next and when your kitchen will be ready for each step.

Great doing business with MES, especially Nikki. They did a wonderful job on converting an antique buffet into a bathroom sink. And they were very cooperative with a special request

When choosing a company for your next counter or stone project its important to look at the facts. Everyone says they will take care of you and do a good job but this company actually does. From my sales person, Sabrina, to my installer, Jose, my experience was great. Sabrina communicated clearly and efficiently at every step of the transaction to make me feel confident the job would be done on time and correctly. The installer was professiinal and prompt. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure to ask me little details to make sure i had everything exactly how i wanted it. The seams were so clean that when the customer came to look, she thought it was 1 huge piece! There were some slight issues with the fit of the stone in the beginning and they not only made sure to immediately fix it, they took care of me, making the entire transaction easy and seamless. Not only are the counters beautiful, Ive built a repeat relationship with them where i will now use them for all of my companies installs. When it comes time to decide who to use for your next project....id trust them. The world is filled with many businesses and people who don't do what they say and say what they do. Why deal with that when you can be working with people of integrity? Thank you to you guys for the wonderful job and the excellent customer service. We need more people like each of you.

Details You Need to Know Before You Buy

How Much Do Custom Countertops Actually Cost in Blountville?
Price depends on the material, slab, square footage, edge details, cutouts, site access, and installation scope. Share your measurements or plans for a useful starting estimate. We’ll confirm the project details before fabrication begins.
Start with your project address, approximate measurements or cabinet plans, material ideas, and photos if available. Tell us whether the cabinets are planned, ordered, or installed. We’ll let you know what else is needed.
You can walk our Blountville inventory and select the exact natural stone slab for your project. Quartz patterns are more consistent, but viewing the available material still helps you understand color, scale, and movement before fabrication.
Timing depends on project readiness, material availability, final measurements, fabrication details, and the installation schedule. Once your scope and selections are confirmed, our team can give you a working timeline for your project.
Cabinets generally need to be installed, secured, level, and ready for final measurements. Sinks, cooktops, faucets, and other cutout details should also be selected or available. We’ll confirm the exact requirements for your project before scheduling.
