Caesarstone

Information and Advantages of Caesarstone

Caesarstone is an engineered stone which comprises mostly of natural quartz, which is wonderful for virtually any indoor work surface, from bathroom counters, countertops, kitchen worktops, vanities, wall paneling and commercial interiors.

Caesarstone has a lot of advantages over other surfaces. It is safer, more durable, cleaner, stronger, and more consistent. This makes it resistant to cracks, scratches and stains. Its non-porous nature provides maximum resistance to stains and fully eliminates the need for any sealing. Because of its non-porous quality of the surface, it also greatly reduces the potential for bacterial growth. Its surfaces are highly scratch resistant. However, avoid using sharp and pointy objects such as sharp knives or screwdrivers, excessive force and/or pressure from objects that can damage the surface. Additionally, it is structurally much more heat repellent compared to other surfaces. However, any stone material can potentially be damaged by sudden and rapid temperature changes, especially sidings and the edges. Therefore, using hot pads is always recommended, especially when using cooking units such as induction cooker, electric frying pans, pots and roaster ovens. We do not advise putting hot cookware directly on the Caesarstone surface. Due to its high density and non-porous qualities, normal cleaning with a piece cloth and mild detergent will keep the surface looking like the first day it was installed. To prevent dulling of the surface, make sure to use a soft cloth or cleaner and thoroughly rinse off with water after use.
