With so much newer construction and ongoing renovation around Arden and Biltmore Park, countertop choices often come down to how well a surface coordinates with the rest of a home and how it holds up over time. When choosing a company for your next counter or stone project its important to look at the facts. Everyone says they will take care of you and do a good job but this company actually does. From my sales person, Sabrina, to my installer, Jose, my experience was great. Sabrina communicated clearly and efficiently at every step of the transaction to make me feel confident the job would be done on time and correctly. The installer was professiinal and prompt. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure to ask me little details to make sure i had everything exactly how i wanted it. The seams were so clean that when the customer came to look, she thought it was 1 huge piece! There were some slight issues with the fit of the stone in the beginning and they not only made sure to immediately fix it, they took care of me, making the entire transaction easy and seamless. Not only are the counters beautiful, Ive built a repeat relationship with them where i will now use them for all of my companies installs. When it comes time to decide who to use for your next project....id trust them. The world is filled with many businesses and people who don't do what they say and say what they do. Why deal with that when you can be working with people of integrity? Thank you to you guys for the wonderful job and the excellent customer service. We need more people like each of you.

We work with granite, quartz, quartzite, porcelain, marble, soapstone, solid surfaces, and compact surfaces, with remnant stone sometimes available depending on inventory. Our team can help you compare materials based on appearance, daily use, upkeep, and how each option fits a newer or established home.
Granite is a natural stone with unique color and movement in every slab, so no two counters look exactly alike. Quartz is engineered for a more consistent, uniform appearance from one section to the next. Granite suits homeowners who want natural variation, while quartz suits those coordinating a clean, matched look, which is common in newer Arden construction. Comparing both at the showroom makes the choice clearer.
Yes. Full-slab selection is a core part of the process. Choosing the exact slab lets you judge the real color, veining, and movement before anything is cut, which is especially important with natural stone like granite, marble, and quartzite.
Yes. Mountain Empire Stoneworks provides in-house CNC fabrication and professional installation for residential and commercial projects in the Arden and south Asheville area. Keeping both under one team supports accurate fabrication and a smoother, better-coordinated install.
Yes. We regularly work with builders and contractors and can help align slab selection, fabrication, and installation with the rest of a project timeline. That coordination helps keep countertops from becoming the step that holds up cabinets, plumbing, or move-in.
